Making It Personal

Coming on the heels of the discussion S and I had today about our relationships with our students, this post by Kate Nowak got me thinking. I still want students to fill out a personal info card for me, but what if S and I then followed it up by spending a little time over the first week talking to each of the kids individually? It would only take a few minutes, but we might be able to set up some really strong connections.
